Hello,

I am also waiting my start date for AMM AV. I did my fitness test about 6 weeks ago. I last spoke to the AFCO on Friday, and have been told that I will be in next years intake. So looks like April 2010 + So I would expect the same if you are waiting too.

Middo

They aint even told me that, next years a long time to wait! the contract game might be back to full strenght be then!

I understand the frustration of waiting so long to get in but this in time will help so we can all build on our fitness, learn as much as we can, etc..

I know I for one can't wait to get in (hopefully) but with this waiting game will use it wisely to brush up on most skills.

My younger brother is in the Navy and he waited about a year for his BRC, Keep focused, time will fly by and it will be here before you know it!

That sounds a bit odd, I found out the day after I passed my PJFT.

Best bet is to ring the AFCO, find out what is going on.

What trade are you going for?

It must be because you are going for a trade that isn't pinchpoint, so isn't of a high priority. That or they are waiting for more people with your trade to get up to the point you are so they can send you all off to Basic Training at the same time.

Even if it is April, so long as your trade is pinchpoint, you could still get called up earlier if someone drops out of their place. If so, just see it as extra time to really get your fitness levels up.

Hope this helps

Hi,

this is my 1st Post on here! i have had a quick read over the convo, i have also been given a date in Feb and PRTC in Nov, February the 3rd anyone else the same?

i was originally told Oct then March 17th and now Feb 3rd! lets hope it sticks at that. Only concern is there are a lot of people commenting on their date being march 17th but nobody for the 3rd of Feb! Hope its a real date!?

im joining for personnel support- anyone else?:pDT_Xtremez_19:
