Surely they would be better served by trying to plug the volcano that's pumping ton after ton of ash in to the air. They could try jumping in en mass, whilst happily singing hippy protest songs, and brandishing eco friendly carbon neutral placards condeming the expansion of the ash cloud. That might work.

I am really quite surprised they noticed any climate change in Manchester.......I thought the weather was always like it is in "Blade Runner" up there.
