    Hi there,

Like Sport James, im becoming a Squipper, i start my course on the 4th of June, i was just wondering if you have any info on the course itself, what sort of exams i would be expected to pass, what i could possibly read up on in the next 3 weeks to get a little head start if there is any, and that sort of thing. I asked for the joining instructions for the trade, and even just for Cosford itself, but no-one could provide anything other then "turn up at 2pm the day before", doesnt really help much. I understand you've been one for a while so the curriculum has most probably changed, but hopefully you could see what side of the job might be problematic to a newbie.

I re-traded to SE fitter, so obviously im REALLY interested in passing this course, otherwise my employment in the RAF would be unsure.

i am thinking about a career with the se fitters, but would like to know a little more about the role, someone has told me that it just sounds like a store mens job? is there any truth to that? the options after the raf also look very good

can you please give me some advice on the above

    cheers
