    Have I been sold a tall story?

    I was in the AFCO today and speaking to some guy. A bit of a Tommy Two poops. I said I was worried about the medical and he said it is really intense and that first time round he got turned away for a bit of hard skin on his heel and varuuca!! Can this be for real?? My common sense says no.

    Hello, I applied today for FOA and the paranoia is now kicking in. Are there stringent eye sight requirements? I wear glasses but only need them when concentrating for long periods, reading and driving and can get about quite easily without them unless I have to read small print etc. My left...

    FOA query

    Hello all, I am 24 and have taken the decision to join the RAF. I really want to be an FOA and found out is open now. Unfortunately I cannot join now as have summer commitments with my present job and I don't want to let them down. Does anyone know how often the FOA trade opens? Nik T
