After a little help here as I cannot find the NSN for 1inch steel banding wire and the clips to go with it. Can anybody help?

Still working on the clips NSN and to be honest with you DS, I'm not entirely sure on the specs for this steel banding. But try this number and see if it's what you're after: 8135-01-0177865.

If I remember rightly, last time I used steel banding there were no clips.

The tensioner/crimping machine actually crimps the two bits of banding together rather than using a metal clip like the nylon stuff.

It could have changed now as it was a long time ago and I have slept since then.

Nah the stuff we've been using for donks in bomb dumps defo uses steel clips to crimp the wire together, much the same as the nylon crap.
