Any other stackers out there having hassle getting kit out of Stafford? Keep getting UMIS telling me there is stock at Stafford only to be told by the 'helpline' that its been tranferred to Donnington. Phone Donnington and they haven't a clue where they've put it - a proper pain in the hoop... cant see how closing Stafford is a good thing. Always slagged the MU off but was a whole lot better than the alternative!!!

Not been on here for a bit but gotta point this one out! If you have any RAF specific kit at Depot that doesn't move all that often, DSDA send it to DULMEN! Apparantly they can't cope at Don and Bic with the influx of RAF kit so anything that doesn't move fast or is too big gets shipped off to Germany, it nearly happened to a bit of a/c specific test equipment the other day, the IPT spotted it just in time.

Yep. Those shiny new type aircraft flying around the Lincs area needed something recently that was aircraft specific. Had to get it couriered from Dulmen back to the UK. I'm sure carrier pigeon would have delivered it quicker though. :PDT_Xtremez_30:
