Hi all, I need some advice, I am attending my first formal Sgts mess ball for the battle of britain. I have been stitched with Mr Vice and could do with any advice anyone has, particulary on grace, toasts and any good ideas to keep anyone entertained when the top table have left. All ideas will be gratefully received.

Hi,

We all hve to do vice at some point. When I did it I spoke to the chairperson, just to gage how far I could go. Just chill out it's a piece of cake. Find a grace on the internet there are loads. Chairperson will ask you to do the loyal toast. When the top table is gone, you rule the room. Tell a funny story, jokes or nominate people to tell jokes. They hate that, but it's good fun for you. Set a joke up before anyone goes into the room if you want. Just tell the stewards you are vice and they will let you in.

Enjoy yourself.

If you want any more advice, info PM me.

If you use the search feature, you should find a recent thread that will answer all your questions and give you some excellent suggestions. A good mr Vice can make the function, good luck.

EDIT: A lesson learned.
If choosing to post, post promptly or someone will use a better search and post it first ! :PDT_Xtremez_42:
