20 years to the day since i was welcomed of the bus by those helpful fella`s at good old swinderbutlins. 10th jan 1989, 15 flt cpl K and sgt S. Probably still the most memorable 6 weeks of my life, camped out at n. luf in minus temps, undured nights sleeping with one pillow over my head with a lad (nickname ticktock) ironing to the early hours! getting sentimetal now? must be age? on to halton aed 121, more interested in women so down to aem126 then to kinloss on vasf. any one out there remember the day? well as cpl K used to say "stand easy pond life"

By hell your just a young wipper snapper, I remember arriving at Swinderby in the winter (remember those) of 1971 to be greeted by Cpl "Knocker" Ward. 9 Flight for 6 weeks of fun, then orf to Halton to build our own classrooms, 6 months Later let loose on Aircraft. Arrrrrrr those were the days.
