Yes, fellow Scots. It's 30 years this June we went down to Wembley and beat The Auld Enemy.
Just wanted to show the intense celebrations at the end. Only thing is that the YouTube vid doesn't show the posts getting broken.:PDT_Xtremez_31:
Que sera sera!

Mingmong, great post. Brought back happy days of 230 @ Aldergrove.
One things for sure, we hate the cottons and they hate us, just for football, you understand. Thats what makes the games so highly charged and memorable.
Hate to say it, but being an honourable Englishman, I think THEY have a great chance of going to Austria/Switzerland next year, more so than us. But thats another thread.

you've still got a good team....... but Israel ffs???

Good players. Average team.

Manager out of his depth. Average team.

It's good that he's not at the BORO. He was never fully accepted.

"Poor Mans Erickson" in the Mail yesterday. The FA totally screwed up in selecting him. A country with the set up we have should not be struggling. But that man cannot put players into the positions that they effectively work day in, day out for their clubs. Lennon, on the right as for Spurs. Gerrard in his Liverpool role. Lampard, only on when Gerrand is not.

Who is Steven Dowding??:PDT_Xtremez_17:

To be fair to the man Rafael Benitez often uses Gerrard on the right when he plays a midfield 4, so that excuse holds no water. Lampard relies on bursting into the box, or just outside, enabling him to score with regularity at Chelsea. Unfortunately the ball is not in the these areas long enough for Lampard (and Gerrard for that matter) to exploit.

Also, Andy Johnson is yet another in a long line of English strikers who are fairly prolific at club level but are found out on the international stage. He's too lightweight and seems incapable of holding up play for the midfielders. (A supposed England threat in the absence of a genuine goalscorer).

Not convinced with Lennon, yet. Definitely not on the left. He had one attempt at a cross with his swinger which sailed over the bar, then after that he kept cutting back onto his right foot and delivering a pile of $hite. Not good enough. Another one who plays with his head down - how the fuuck does he know what's going on if his eyes are glued to the fuuckin' ball. Get your head up, have a look around, spot the movement and deliver a quality pass/cross. Simple!

The only positive that I took from the game was that Owen Hargreaves had a good return to international football after his lay-off.
