Hi i'm currently going through the transfer process from the Army, I've done just under 3 years now, I was wondering if i will still be entitled to my 8 year money in the RAF taking into account the time served in the barmy?

I know one of my collegues, who left the army having done 7 years, she was out for about 14 months but still managed to get her 7 1/2 yr bonus after joining the RAF. So now it has changed to a one off 8 year payment I cant see why you would not qualify.
