Has PMA moved yet?
Our staish said that it was occurring this week although I thought it had already happened.

If they are moving does anyone know how long it may take and whether the drafters are or arent working during this period?

I only ask because most of my shift are checking JPA every single day for our imminent postings. It would appear a waste of time if PMA are shut!
 
The official movement date is 14 Jan, i.e., next Monday, but in reality it has been phased to minimise disruption with the first people moving across before Christmas.

PMA desks for the majority are, at the moment, still operating at Innsworth. (small advance party at Wycombe already) The Desk move is due to happen a week on monday, 21 Jan 07, when, for obvious reasons there will be no service or open door policy. On completion of the physical move and after a check of the designated telephone numbers etc. a VIN or whatever they're called will be sent out informing all of the new contact details.

Official response from RAF Pers Bulletin DEC 07

As part of the Co-located Headquarters Project, Air Manning, formerly PMA, will relocate from RAF Innsworth to the Headquarters of Air Command at RAF High Wycombe during Jan 08. The move will take place in 2 parts with the Ground Trades Drafting Offices moving during the period of 14 – 18 Jan 08 and the Officers and NCA Desks, Promotions and Change of Engagement sections moving, on completion of the AST boards, during the week of 21 – 25 Jan 08. Please be aware that ‘open door’ facilities will not be available during the week that the respective offices undertake the move. A small advance party is already in place at High Wycombe and it is their express purpose to provide an emergency service during the period of the move. Contact details at RAF High Wycombe for these individuals will shortly be published in an IBN. Full business capability will be restored as quickly as possible after the move and it is planned that Air Manning will return to FOC on 31Jan 08 with promotion boards recommencing in Feb 08. Due to the constraints of the HQ site, the Disclosures Section, Manning 22e will be rusticated to RAF Cranwell.
