Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have the pleasure, let me say that again, I have the pleasure of joing 600 today, as part of the RAuxAF. As an ex pongo, I am amazed at the difference and I talk positively all the way down the line. It is so nice to be treated as a person, and to realise that after all the years of the jokes and jest thrown against the RAF, that I should realise that the grass is greener on the other side.

A real pleasure to be in blue instead of green and I look forward to a thoroughly enjoyable time.

I saw lots of you guys this morning turning up for "work"!
Welcome to the RAF I hope you enjoy your time here!

(By the way, introduce yourself on the "Introductions thread" and tell us a bit about yourself, past service, what you do now etc. It's the best place for people to welcome you.)

A warm welcome again, to the RAF, to RAF Northolt, to 600 Sqn, and of course the E-Goat!

Welcome to the Goat and to the RIGHT side of the fence....enjoy the madness and dont be shy:PDT_Xtremez_28:

Don't seem to be a lot of forums on the RAuxAF, or whatever we are called. Keen to learn about 'crab-speak' etc, what not to say, and what not to do. Life is amazingly diffeent now, being in blue, instead of green. Any one point me in the right direction to keep me on the straight and narrow.

#welcome to promised land mate.

Read the threads that interest you, lots of good stuff here and of course some bloody funny stuff. then of course there is the downright odd stuff not to mention the really weird stuff.

If in doubt see sausage2s agony aunt page, but remember he has recently turned all ginger on us

Welcome...The reason for the lack of forums could be a lack of reservist members!

Encourage your new comrades to sign up and they all will be made welcome....

The Goat is a totally un-biased website that promises to take the p*ss out of everyone equally...:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Be yourself. That's the only right direction.

Welcome to the oggies, the RAF and the goat.

Welcome, top_man!

Full marks on not abbreviating to RAAF - seen too often and it gets the Australian Air Force annoyed!

I'm an oggie, with a squadron that has a goat mascot...

There's a few that post on PPRuNe, but I know of no dedicated RAuxAF forums.

Generally, those in blue suits are more laid back, and expected to have some initiative - not saying those in green don't have it, just expectations differ :-)

All the best,

Tocsin
