ABM or RAF Regiment Officer

Hi,

After being told that my first choice WSOp (linguist) is closed I am now deciding between Aerospace Battle Manager and RAF Regiment Officer.

I hope to get a permanent commission but at 30 I am not sure whether this is realistic or not. Any views on this welcome...

I have read the job descriptions on the RAF website as well as the more detailed versions sent by the AFCO. However, I would like some further information from anyone in the know. Specifically, what are the prospects for both further development and promotion within these two branches?
