Acting WO for PFOMs

I have just heard on the grapevine that PFOMs are to get acting WO to bring them into line with other "heads of Sheds" on Station (WO Fire, WO MT etc). Surely this is unfair on the other FS who are not filling the PFOM role ?

Speaking as a FS PFOM which bloke in which pub told you about this then. PS the head of the fire section at the front line unit I work at is also a FS. PPS to get acting rank you need to have at least a rec on a F6000 or your boss expects you to get one on your next so what happens to those newly promoted FS then eh?

Oh sorry, I seem to have made a mistake, I thought this was the RAF rumour network. I must remember to post only cast iron facts in future. At the very least, raising the blood pressure of a few snecks will improve the promotion prospects of the those who deserve it.

I am like the Murphys, not bitter. I have viewed this forum for quite some time before contributing, I guess I will have to turn up the wick on my deflector shields next time. Any movement for promotions has to benefit us all especially those of us in the bigger ponds, % of promotion per bod aint that brill are they.
