Can anyone tell me what a person would loose if they are admin discharged rfom the service say after 9 years service. How long the process takes etc.

You would be discharged under a certain QR - but your still entitled to all your annual leave, 20 days terminal etc. .. I suggest you go in PSF and get them to work out your discahrge date and pin point exactly how many days your entitled to ie: GRT.

I take it you mean QR1027.

Terminal Leave in this case is awarded at the CO's discretion. I've seen a couple of these where the CO has exercised his discretion to not award the 20 days terminal leave, leaving the individuals concerned with a couple of days to pack their bags and get of his base!

If it is because 'you' are a bad boy then Feck All as it should be!
