Hi everyone, just passed the aptitude test today 6/9/08 Leeming 609 Squadron.
Can anyone tell me what the car mileage allowance for attending weekends etc.
Is there a limit on distance allowed?
I live in Cramlington Northumberland, so quite a distance to travel.
Cheers
Steve

You'll get return mileage for every trip you make down there. So 68ish miles each way. I used to get £35 a time, for my trip from 4-5 miles South of you.

There is a 50 mile limit on paper, however, this is normally waived so I wouldn't worry about it too much, there's no point ****ing of a willing volunteer for the sake of a few pence.

You'll get about 20p - 25p a mile, don't know the exact rate, it should cover your petrol costs. If 609 have accommodation for you then you'll get one return trip per weekend/training evening/attendance this and that.

Hi,
I think the MMR is 25.9p/mile but your Sqn Admin bods should be able to give you the exact numbers
