I PVR'ed last October, it took my Flt Commander 3 weeks to interview me, he told me he was not prepared to recommend my PVR (as if that makes a difference).

I sent repeated emails trying to confirm that he sent it off and he assured my sgt that he had, and the reason it had not turned up on my work flow was due to JPA.

However it turns out (according to JPA and my discharge clerk)that it reached him then timed out, he reakons that he had it re-established but only he has a record of this, neither JPA or PSF or my drafter, so I believe he is swinging the lead. (he still has failed to do the CPLs assesments so admin not his best trait!).

I have JPAC working on it and I have exhausted the services of PSF and my drafter, What next can anyone help?:PDT_Xtremez_17:

Padre? Say you're stressed, traumatised etc. What about your WO? The Flight Commanders boss?

Failing that, mention that your family are thinking of going to the papers, that might put a rocket up his arse.

As Monty says speak with your WO (or whoever is at the head of the chain in your particular place of work). Make sure you've got any/all documental evidence with you and tell him the whole story. Certainly your bosses boss should be aware of it if he is a persistent arse-dragger (judging by the fact he hasn't done cpls assessments by now). The next step may be some form of redress action but I'm sure someone better qualified than I will comment on that.

One of the most powerful Men in the RAF when it comes to getting things done. Some Jnr zob just won't understand how things really work.

I am part of a very small section and only have 1 Sgt and 1 Flt Lt, my WO is no use at all and shows no intrest in the section or the people in it, so I have little flex when it comes to my management, has anyone ever used OC PMS for any thing like this?

Speak to the WO about redressing the Zob - and mention your wife's thoughts of going to the papers. (Edited bit) then go to OC PMS and state your present case to him/her.

Did you keep copies of what you gave him? - If not; learn from your mistake.
KEEP CONTROL OF, AND COPIES OF, ALL IMPORTANT PERSONAL DOCUMENTS.

In all your future dealings (with this man) make a point of making a record of your conversation in front of him (in a small diary/notebook) If he asks tell him that it's your record of when/who/what happened in this project.

Be direct but polite. Don't get angry. Don't get emotional. Don't take any bull.

OC PMS will, with respect, not be interested at this stage. You should address your concern in writing to your Chf Clk, copied to your Flt Cdr. In there state the facts, leaving any emotion out (hard to do but gets results quicker) and suggest given the timescale, you seek resolution by a particular date. If by that date you have not had a reply, then escalate to WO PMS/OC PSF and your Sqn Cdr.

As an ex Chf Clk I can confirm I was able, in similar cases and with documented proof, able to get PVR applications backdated to original application date. Good luck.
