Have any of the Medical trades here dealt with or have treated Aerotoxic Syndrome?

I am particularly interested in the incidence of reported illnesses due to the exposure of Air and ground crew to the effects of hydraulic and engine oil in their liquid, atomised and combusted forms.

What incidence of this syndrome is apparent in the military as opposed to the civil aircraft sector?

Is Aerotoxic syndrome recognised as a genuine condition in military circles?

Is there any evidence of Aero T syndrome incidences showing patterns or clusters within the military community?

Many thanks,

TW

This is a serious question guys and gals. If anyone wants to use PMs instead of a public forum then please do. This is of genuine interest to myself and any info would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

MH.

Top work mate, but I really need to hear from the med trades regarding my original questions.

I have some excellent papers referring to Aero T S but I have no idea of the incidence of this in the RAF.
