Got a question fellow Goaters!

Thinking of applying for a AFCO job. I'm a FS, does anyone know what a FS would do in the AFCO? I've not spoken to an AFCO about this yet so my knowledge is zero regarding what the job entails for a FS. Any truthful advice would be most welcome. Thanks in advance Goaters.

You'd be the area FS or there may be some
Motivational positions.

Thought long and hard then!
Run the office as you would do in other FS slots, chip in when busy and nip off early when you can unless things have changed.
I imagine there would be a large element of dealing with the 20 yr old Army equal who will be trying to be as absent as possible.

The area FS is responsible for the management of all AFCOs in his region. So as previously mentioned you will spend a massive chunk of your time travelling between offices. You still do the same course as everyone else and will be expected to help interview if required.
