Sorry if this isn't the right place but I would like to know how the RAF take back the difference of Statutory Maternity Pay and the AFOMS if you have taken the option to full pay for 6 months but then decided to leave on account of Maternity? Is the money taken in a full whack ie you would have to get a loan to pay the lump sum or is it taken from any future job pay, how can they "make" you pay it back if you aren't going to another job therefore will have no money coming in? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.
 
Have a look at JSP 760, Chapter 20. I haven't had a good look at it, but most eventualities are covered. Failing that, try your PSF!
