So how many players from your team will be off on this little jaunt? Obviously the mighty Accrington Stanley squad remains unaffected (Our benin international has moved on) but those in other leagues may not be so fortunate. Chelsea will lose Drogba and Essien but will anybody else suffer because this is a mid season tournament.

The mighty Bloooooobirds won't be affected, but does anybody else think it's completely bonkers to hold this tournament in World Cup year?

The players complain that they play too much football as it is and now they are having to play two long (if they progress) tournaments on top of the Premiership, Champions League, FA Cup, Carling Cup etc etc.

Togo Banned from next 2 Africa Cup tournaments

Togo Banned from next 2 Africa Cup tournaments

Anyone else think that this is slightly insensitive seeing as the team had fatalities during the bus attack ?

Crack on.................:PDT_Xtremez_09:

I spent a week working in Jo'Burg a few years ago, saw 2 street knifings from the bus and one of the guys got mugged by a gang with machete's, he didn't argue.

Best backward view from an aeroplane I've ever had.

And they wonder why ticket sales are slow.

Yet more proof that the people who run football have no grip on reality.

Quite so no grip at all. As TOGO did not fulfill their fixtures due to being shot at, people killed and injured etc they have now been banned for the next two tournaments. Defies logic for me but that's football.
