Anyone know if you can get an AIP for completing ECDL?

- one of my SAC's asked me, have looked at the JSP and still none the wiser :S

I think ECDL is a Level 2 qual??

Cheers

AFAIK If the qualification can be attributed to being of use within that persons primary duty then I thought it was a go?

The full list of useable qualifications were in Appendix 1 to Annex B to GAI 1058 the last time I checked something...

The info that was previously contained in GAI 1058 has now been incorporated into JSP 754. AFAIK ECDL cannot be used for an AIP as it is available to certain trades/units at no individual cost.

Not sure about the above.

If it is on the list in the JSP then fine, if not then TS should/could be contacted for advice...

However, not so sure about ECDL as many people have it and I have never heard of anyone getting an AIP for it. ECDL is a level 2 qual and as far as I know the list of quals are set at level 3 (and above).

Accelerated Incremental Progression - get a qual (that is on a list in the JSP), stick it in thru PSF and move up a level on the pay spine

European Computer Driving Licence - basic IT qual

Come on get with it :PDT_Xtremez_30:

You actually need a licence to drive a computer?

Probably another qualification that someone has invented to make money out of Joe Bloggs (read that as fleece the MOD).
