Where to begin. My profile says it all realy. I was an Air Photography Operator from 15th August 1972, that's when I finished my APO course at JSOP Cosford - APO 35.

I left the Air Force in August 1976 after only five years due to an injury to my left knee and one unsucessful operation.

I served at RAF Leuchars prior to training, then, following my course, I served in the Photo Section at RAF Leconfield before being attached to 11 Squadron working on the line and serving at RAF Luqa, Malta.
Returned to the Photo Section at Leconfield.
I then joined 39 Squadron RIC at RAF Wyton and then transferred to The Photo Factory across the road at Wyton.

That's pretty much it really.

I have some photographs from various bases that need scanning and posting on here.
I am also on FaceBook as 'Robin Patches Ellwood'.
On Facebook I'm also a member of:
'English Electric Lightning Appreciation Group'
'I was at R.A.F Swinderby' group
'RAF Swinderby' group
'JSOP RAF Cosford' group
