Saw a band in good old Norwich 2 weeks back. Stunned and shattered afterwards.

Airbourne are a 4 member band from Aussieland, who are just starting to get known here in the UK

Any AC/DC fans, i would definitely recommend these guys. Good solid Rock and Roll

I saw them on 2 of their shows, Birmingham Academy and London Astoria. A very good band, the album is great and the live show is excellent, but I can't help thinking that they sound like a bit of a one trick pony, with little variety in their sound. They did win Classic Rock Magazine's Best Newcommers award this year, so are a well respected new band.

I was more Impressed with their suppoer band, Stone Gods, who I thought were even better than Airbourne (although I am slightly biassed as I think their debut album is possibly the best album of the year). I'm really looking forward to catching Stone Gods again next weekend when they are support for Black Stone Cherry. Then hopefully next year they will decide to do their own headline tour.

I'm a bit biased because the can't spell 'Airborne'
However, look out for 'The very Strangers' They're playing at the Eden Project on April 17th - Magic!

I saw both Airborne and Stone Gods in Dundee recently (2nd time I've seen S.G) and was totally blown away. Good old fashioned rock music that shows the newbies (all those emo and nu-metal wannabe's) how it's done. Check them out if you ever get a chance - you'll not regret it.

saw then in November pure rock magic http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IX5eFEV2ltI/YT]">http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IX5eFEV2ltI/YT]" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">

Agreed, Awesome band, Not enough people doing stuff like this nowadays.

Hope they come back here touring soon, need to get me some of that.

Airbourne live - awesome - like being hit by a "rock'n'roll train" - just so much better. Black Ice - good album but Runnin' Wild is so much better, raw, hungry, alive - makes Black Ice sound rather thin - no pun intended.

Stone Gods were great too - Album is great too!

Anyone seen Heaven's Basement live yet? Amazing!

My better half recommended Airbourne - so spot on!

Should be seeing Heavens Basement sometime in the next year...
Haven't heard them before though... :S Any good anyone?

So why the hell have you been to see them again twice since October?

I like going to see live music but can't see the same band doing the same 5 or 6 tracks weekend after weekend. Your mad bloke :) . I suppose alzeimers helps as everytime you see them its a new experience :)

I was with Mingmong at the Birmingham Academy and thought both bands wee good but the lead singer of the Stone Gods fancies himself as a bit of an Ozzy. Still, the are much better than their last band "The Darkness".
