ATC cadets from the East Cheshire South Manchester Wing will be taking part in a charity challenge on the 25th of September, to raise cash for H4H & a local childrens' hospice, Francis House. The cadets will compete against each other in an attempt to be the fastest team to cover 50m. Not as easy as it sounds as they will be pulling 27tonnes of aircraft, a BAE RJX behind them! The squadron I am associated with have setup a donations page if antone would like to support the cadets efforts. http://www.justgiving.com/1330Sqn.

May have no engines, but it is packed with ballast in the front fuselage to compensate. Also will have flaps extended & airbrake open to generate lots of drag!

The cadet charity plane pull was completed on Saturday 25th, a bright sunny day, only about the fifth one we've had this year in Manchester. A team from 1330 Warrington squadron won the event, posting a time of 37 seconds to cover the 50m. Many thanks to those of you who supported this event by donating through the just giving page. When the final amount of money raised has been sorted, will let you all know.
