Hi all...I'm a long time reader of the site, thought it was about time I got off my fat arse and started posting!

Served 8 years in the RAF as a CSA, mainly at the delightful RAF Digby...managed to 'escape' in 1999...

Looking forward to some banter like the old days...can't get that sort of thing working with a bunch of boring IT geeks who have been at the same company since leaving Uni.

Laters! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Hells bells, war story? I was a CSA for God's sake...you've got no chance! ;)

Used to laugh at some of the Royal Signals guys who we worked with, who used to bimble around what was essentially an office environment, wearing Matterhorn boots and a gerber pocket knife on their stable belts.

A dangerous environment was that place...I got a paper cut once...fooking hurt I can tell ye...

Dont do your self down mate,if you was a spam you would have got a Purple Heart for that!.:PDT_Xtremez_19:

Sounds like you are a Geordie.......lol I spent most of my 9 years avoiding Digby and that was about the biggest success of my career. Know what you mean about the Royal Siggies, I was in the Joint Commcen in Bahrain. The RAF and the Navy lads used to be in K.D. or Navy equivalent and the poor army guys looked as if they had just come off a parade. Don't forget those nasty paper cuts you used to get from that parchmentized tape, always used to get you in the creases of your fingers.........
