Audi Control wheel thingy!

Just wondering if any goaters know how to remove the stereo/heating/nav control wheel selector thingy when its fitted by the gear stick on a A4?

It will be basicaly the same as the A6 S line To have any thing done on that centre console to do it correctly it is a workshop job has it has to be done frome the bottom (dont ask me how) .Ihad to have the whole console cover replaced ubder warranty).Notknowing i baught a new one thinking it was an east clip off clip on job went to collect the part was told it coukd only be done in the workshop luckily for me the car was only 4 months old at the time.so i didnt cost me owt .Thats what they said anything to with the console its a workshop job
