Auggie FLM's

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
From what I've seen out here, our AMMs are at least the equal of an AAC Corporal.

Not convinced about part time aircraft techies, although you could argue some of us are part time anyway!!:PDT_Xtremez_31::PDT_Xtremez_31:

Who said anything about techies? I'm talking about FLM's...

When you say FLMs, you mean flight line mechanics? Last time I looked, I though they were techies (although they are now called AMMs).

Or have I completely missed your point?

I do mean flight line mechanics, who are (were) mechanics, not technicians. No Q courses, no rects, no promotion beyond SAC, etc, etc. Dunno what AMM's do as I was out by then.

The point is, could FLM duties could be carried out by auggies? I personally don't see why not but todays modern air force types might not agree...
