Hi fella's,
Glad you like the vid's,
Trashy man, I do understand where your coming from, but please dont let the fact that they dont leave the ground put you off, its the next best thing to flight, and its affordabale and within our hobby to 'just' keep them in fast taxying cocndition, this takes us all our time and effort, belive me.
People in the crowd get all the smells, noise and sight of a living breathing aircraft, not just a dead museum piece.
Come and enjoy, please, we need all the support we can muster DT_Xtremez_30:
Plainsailing, I realy couldnt say about the Victor
Cheers all
Oh look, that comet is Canopus.
Saw her in at Akrotiri in the Mid 90's.
I'll bet there's a real temptation to pull the stick and get airborne in some of those old ladies!
I'm obviously missing something here; I've never heard of 'Canopus'. I was under the impression that the Comet only ever flew as an airliner with BOAC/BEA. In the RAF, all the new Comet style airframes were all known as Nimrod's?
You've missed out, Ping mate.
The comet was the pride of Transport Command.
Piccy here..................
