In the process of getting a rock band together on Unit and now starting the process of getting a name. Having played in several bands on different Units this is often the hardest part. Everyone learns their music, lyrics etc but try and get them to come up with a name and youget blank faces. Then someone will find a name and propose it, to get loads of abuse from the ones that have done nothing, because they dont like the name.

Therefore this time I'm asking the Goat for their input. No promises that we will use your proposals but it will add more to the discussion.

We have a normal rock band make up of:-

Lead and rythmn guitars
Bass Guitar
Keyboard
Singer (with Backing singers)
and of course the man with the sticks.

The floor is open Goater's, and if we get some suggestions and the band cant decide then it may even lead to a poll vote!!!

If you Google "Band name generator" you'll get several nice sites which will randomly generate names for you.

Just googled it and went to oe of the sites. Think LQ must have something to do with the site as the first name they gave us was.......

i would suggest your name should depend on what type of rock you play
for instance, you dont want to be called 'death rattle'(or whatever) if you play bon jovi type gubbins.
so a little more info if poss........

Have to admit its not a name to stick in your mind, I thought granite was quite good!
