Marillion

Marillion

Should've posted this earlier.
Saw Marillion on Monday night at the Wolves Civic.
Absolutly brilliant. Played their new, and 14th, album 'Somewhere Else', along with various songs from previous H-era albums. Plus, they did 3 encores.
Only dissappointment was no Fish-era songs were played.:PDT_Xtremez_37:
Think they're leaving them for the Big Man to sing.
On that subject, off to see Fish at Robin2, Bilston in September.:PDT_Xtremez_30:
Saw him on his 'Return to Childhood' (20th anniversary of Misplaced Childhood's release) tour last year.

Have posted earlier in the thread but need to add Arcade Fire to the list.

Fantastic live band and you can even forgive them for being Canadian!

I seem to have a bit of a metal theme going on here,

In some sort of chronological order:

Hawkwind about 1984 ish, very, very weird.
Ozzy Osbourne 1986, he was still alive back then and was brilliant.
Page and Plant Wembley 95
Iron Maiden at Download Festival
Bowling for Soup, Alien Ant Farm, Linkin Park, Reading Festival, there were probably more but I was very drunk.
Electric Six, don't bother, utter ****e.
The Who at the IOW Festival, the Manics were there too and they sucked.
Iron Maiden 3 more times, Clive Burr gig at Hammersmith Odeon, Early Days and latest tour of A Matter of Life and Death, can't wait for the Powerslave set to reappear next year.
Motorhead, amazingly loud.
Saxon 3 or 4 times, I've lost count
Peter Frampton twice.
Thunder
Deep Purple with Ian Gillan, the band were good, he was not.
Bowling for Soup at Reading, Oxford and Astoria
Green Day in Cardiff
Going to see The Foo Fighters next Sat at the O2 Arena
