Iv heard you get told that 'you sleep when we tell you' and 'you sh*t when we will tell you' during 32 TG, I can understand its very demanding and stressful but surely you have enough time to use toilet when u actually need it and are allowed to do your business? I mean I'm the person who goes at least twice a day and I'm medically fit and healthy? Would this be a problem for me during the course a guy who needs to regularly take two Sh*TS a day!!! Serious replys apriecated guys??

Don't believe all you are told. If anything, these people take more care of your physical and mental well-being than your parents would.

This isn't the Army; we are not savages.

Why's your username Gemma if you're a guy? Just checking. Perfectly OK in this day and age.

Daughters name is gemma..won't forget that username!!!
During the course on a typical day what would to be expected? PT,classroom work, kit prep?? Do you get many breaks or is all action most of the time from 1 thing to the next? You ask these questions down at afco but don't always get decent answer's surely this is the place to find as much out as possible?

A typical working day will begin at around 0700 and end anywhere upto 1900.

You'll have a variety of types of lesson, such as kit prep, foot and arms drill, Force Protection training, PT, and many many others.

Most teaching sessions are (or were) around the 45 - 60min mark, then there is generally time for a quick comfort break before the next lesson.

You're expected to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day (helps concentration) so the instructors won't (shouldn't) mind you taking comfort breaks between lessons, just try and avoid needing to go part way through a lesson (common sense)

At end of day do you get to use mobiles to call family members? Is there WiFi? What do the guys do on there own time?

At the end of the day, your time is your own, however, you will have tasks to carry out. Things like kit prep, revision packages, and of course, those minute and obscurely placed areas of brass won't polish themselves...

Yes, you'll get time to call home, as for wifi, no. Reception is patchy on the RTS site! and DOES vary from block to block. If you make it to PRTC, I virtually guarantee someone will be on every network imaginable. Get together, and chat with your new buddies, work it out for yourselves...

There's also a bar. Not so much at first, but later on you get to use it. There's other places as well just to get away from the tedium of block life (use them). There is even a non-denominational chill out and mediation house.

I was there only briefly and being in the same block nearly drove me crazy, but going off camp is not an option. Find a place or corner to call your own. (I even did this in Cranwell, and it'll save your sanity)
