Crack on............:PDT_Xtremez_09:

The Hurricane and the Spitfire won the Battle of Britain, not just the Spitfire. A lot of historians reckon that the Hurricane couldn't have done it by itself, which is debatable. As for Fighter Command not being ready, the only real problem they had was all of the doctrine and training was based on attacking unescorted bombers flying from Germany, not dealing with bombers escorted by fighters. At the end of the day the RAF won and the Germans lost (the daylight phase) because the main two players on the RAF side (Dowding and Park) were professionals and the Germans (Goring) wasn't.

Too right it'll be a good issue, I've always been interested in the Spanish acquisition of Central America and that article on Cortes fits the bill nicely!

Italians lost.

That’s a bit picky, though correct. The Italians did take part and got a kicking in the process (a Fiat biplane fighter v a Spitfire or a Cant Bomber v a Hurricane who do you think would win that fight? (Even a Gloster Gladiator could do both quite successfully in the Med at that time)).
