So the new indian chicken farm owners sack Sam because he's not an advocate of "pretty football" and promise the new manager a transfer budget of £5M in January. A fortune in the real world but a pittance on planet football. The lady chairperson who ditched Sam has to date never even been to the ground. I have an awful feeling that the mess visited upon Portsmouth may seem trivial to the clusterfeck about to befall Rovers. Jack Walker must be spinning in his grave. There's every chance of playing championship football with Burnley next season followed by a league 2 local derby clash with the mighty Stanley in 4 seasons time.

I read somewhere these Indians make an annual profit of around £3 Million per year. Unless their company is sat on a massive fortune I can't see an influx of big signings.

About the only good thing the new owners have said is they are not hiring the cheating, hand of god, drug addict.
