Blue screen after windows XP starts

Can any of the gurus on here tell me where I can find the settings that tells windows what drivers to load and in what sequence. The problem that I have is that I get the blue screen of death just after the Windows Splash screen. The error points to the problem being a driver issue but I have no idea as to where the problem could be. I can boot in safe mode but that is about it.

I am by no means a guru,but have you tried to go back to a previous restore point if you think there is a problem with your drivers?

Or also when in safe mode, can you get access to device manager by right clicking my computer and updating your drivers that way.

Sorry if you have already tried these
