I applied online for aircraft technition mechanical and avionics. i recently received the letter stating my reference number and saying to contact my local office to arrange my initial interview.

However im going away for a wile and wouldent be able to attend it for another 8 weeks. would this be acceptable to book the test for 8 weeks time?

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Hi,

You'll be on your Local AFCOs computer system and they may try to contact you, give them a call and explain the situation. I think the Aircraft Techie trades are closed at the moment so no rush.
