Hi Just got a phone line in my room, and I'm going to get broadband. Does anybody know who's the best people to go with. Going to want unlimited dowloads(lots of porn and dvds) how strict are companies with their fair usage policies.

BT Total Broadband Option 1 5GB
BT Total Broadband Option 2 8GB
BT Total Broadband Option 3 Unlimited

If you have a mobile on contract with Orange, if your bill is over £35 a month you can have free broadband, 2gb limit.

I think I went over this month, downloaded kubuntu linux..... oops :PDT_Xtremez_31:

I use orange, dunno how much it is cos I dont pay the bill, but I get unlimited and my dad is as tight as a ducks backside, so it cant be that much

I think it's a tenner if your an Orange mobile contract user !

Nah, we aren't, both my dad and I have mobiles our each own independant work now pays for.

It's probably a £14.95 type then. I tried to find the info on their website for you..... but it's abit crap. Well unless you want to buy a mobile or look at mrs Beckhams nipples :PDT_Xtremez_31:

I use tiscali, 2 MB bandwidth (all I can get due to distance from exchange) with unlimited download, costs me £14.95 a month. As long as you don't go crazy in the evenings their fair use policy is ok. I set big downloads off after 2300 and stop them before 1600 and I've never had a problem with them.

Yep i agree with that completely, except being at ****ty marham i can only get 1/2 meg, i had one snotty email about fair usage policy and they have left me alone.

Use Demon.net 17.99 a month no download limits

I use demon as my normal isp, have done for 3 years now. Only had 2 probs in that time and both sorted very quickly. Been upgraded for free to 8mb, started off at .5mb, as they upgrade along with BT.

Scaley Brat check pm - ref Kubuntu
