Ok so I have been practice speed, distance & time calculations. But I have just seem some questions which have knots as the speed obviously. My questions is in the cbat do I have to convert the knots in mph? Or do I just use knots as mph??

Worried now!!

Just stipulate the answer in knots or knots per hour. as long as the question isnt given in in both knots and kil/hour, the relations remain the same.

Surely as a knot is actually 1 nautical mile per hour; knots per hour is an acceleration not a speed.

Kts/hr is a rate of acceleration by definition, given that kts is a speed, but not one in practical use as far as I know. A nautical mile (1 minute or 1', i.e. 1/60 of a degree, of latitude at the Equator) is far too large to calculate speed per second or acceleration per sec. per sec., aka per sec. squared.
