I might be out of a job soon and I don't want a job stuck in one place so the CDT team might appeal to me. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know if the CDT team is a job you can apply for ?

Does it appear in Personnel Volunteers ?

Is it open to all ranks/trades ? (or just medics) ?

Has anybody worked on the team ?

Yeah, open to all trades (Sgt & above), subject to being released by your desk. Posts used to be controlled by the SDL desk in PMA6c, think it's Manning31b at H Wycombe now. Your PSF will have the number for the drafter, but only between 1613 and 1616 hrs each day!!

I am pretty sure that CDT is open to all trades but to SNCO's only as part of the testing supervision team. They may be support roles at a lower rank but these may be trade specific. I have seen vacancies advertised in PMB's but not for a while. In the absence of any further info I hope this helps.
 
Cheers fellas, Looks like I will join the Drafters engaged tone appreciation society. I know there was a thread awhile back about them relocating, does anybody know if it came off ?
