Would rather FAI were no involved. Also not sure why England arent, probably think they are too good or something to do with Premiership being to important.
A few worries fixture congestion might be an issue.
It is better than playing meaningless friendlies, however we do need exposure to continental opposition.
 
Not keen on the name, and I'd rather they were proper "Home" Internationals. The Republic do not fit that bill.

England will, no doubt, be looking for something far more lucrative than this.
 
Or easier opposition, so they might stand a chance of winning the competition !

Home internationals should be resurrected. Let England take part and everyone benefits from 'friendlies' against quality opposition rather than tours of third rate countries. If the rugger buggers can fit the six nations into a season then footballers should be able to have a five nations every two years!
