Due to there being spare MQs at my current posting and having joint custody (during school holidays...etc) of a child from a previous relationship i have moved out of the block and into a quarter as a singlee. Does anyone know the rules/regs regarding single occupancy discount on council tax within the forces. I know in civvy street it entitles you to pay only 75% of the council tax, however, i'm not sure if this applies in MQs?

Shouldn't really be complaining as i chose to move into the quarter but just thought i would try and get some info.

Thanks

Humble Scribe is correct.

I was in the same situation a few years ago and was entitled to (and received) the rebate.

I hope you had less hassle than I did applying for the FQ.

Thanks guys. Off to PSF i go!

Wouldn't you be best banging your head against a brick wall first, and don't go to PSF on a Wednesday or a Friday, I bet they are closed for training or sumfing. You may want to fill out the form three times aswell, no doubt they will lose the first two.

I'm not bitter, Good Luck
