Can anyone tell me how the CILOCT rates are worked out.

I know that local amenities are taken into account, schools, police etc, but why am I paying the same amount for a 2 bed house (grade 4 type b) as my colleague who has a 3 bedroom ????

I thought that the number of bedrooms might have something to do with.

Should I ask DHE and drop my work colleagues in it, or should I take one for the team ??

you could look it up?

you could look it up?

As you said it will be the same based on house size, but I think if your colleague was entitled to a 2 bed and had to be put into a 3 for lack of availability then they will only pay 2 bed rates.

I think you should look it up and if you are paying too much get a rebate. If your oppo is paying too little then its up to them to come clean.

If it helps I think its just over a ton for a three bed, unless its shot up in the last six months.

CILOCT Rates are based on size of Quarter, grade does not come ito the equation. This year's rate for a type B is £3.04 per day and for a type C is £3.34 per day.
