me and mrs mmj have just been discussing a move to the lossie/kinloss area problem is we are both in the mob :PDT_Xtremez_17:
now the question is does co location still exsist? and if so what are the general rules to go by, apologies for having to do this on here but as we have only just thought about/discussed it at five on a friday afternoon my local helpfull psf is shut.
so can any of the admin types on here throw me a bone and help me out ? any advice would be greatfully recieved.

Really depends on what trades you are and whether there are any vacancies for either of you.

What wont happen is someone will get booted out to make way for your wife (or you) if one of you secures a posting there. You may well have to wait a while to be co-located.

If you are both of the same rank & trade, then you could always do what one couple did and get themselves based at Lossie & Kinloss, then exchange every couple of years!

Colocation exists

Colocation exists

Colocation as a process exists however there are currently no rules, guidance or process published so it comes down whatever your, and your missus's, drafter can do or want to do.

Part of the way forward with JPA.

Although getting a joint posting would have been difficult under the old system, if it were not for promotion, repatriation or overseas postings taking place.
