Afternoon all,

So I was wondering with the Commitment bonus does it make any sense to take it in all the little portions and put them in a high intrest Account or Bonds. Then put it as a deposit on a house etc when you have the whole lot.

Or

Dont touch it until you can take max amount.

Any views on this?

You can take £15k or two smaller amounts at different times. There's a table on JPA under `Commitment Bonus`. As to what is better, well I went for 3750 in year 4 and will get 7500 next year - not too fussed I've missed out on 15k, but it would have been nice. Still, £7.5k isn't to be scoffed at!
