Hi folks have been watching for a long time but not done anything so this is my first foray into wot seems a great site. Serious topics and sometimes funny ones and very entertaining. Am ex RAF and now living in La Linea, Spain. Anyone familiar with Gibraltar will know La Linea is a stones throw - literally - from the Rock. Moved out here three years ago with no regrets. The state of the UK is truly horrendous and glad to be out of it. Got to know one or two RAF blokes here and of course listen to BFBS most of the time and have helped with Wireless For The Blind. Have got satellite telly so also watch wot is going on in the UK and therefore can relate to a lot of the topics on e-goat.
I look forward to being involved with e-goat in the future now that I've made a start.
 
Welcome to the goat - can't say as I blame you moving away from the UK, if I could afford it I'd be off an' all!

I have similar plans to get out of the UK after serving my sentence.Cyprus hopefully.

Hello mate. Welcome to the Goat. Spent 3 very happy years on The Rock, returning to the UK in early 04 (and been trying ever since to get back out there!), so I know La Linea really well. I heard vicious rumours that Jimmy's Bar has been closed. Am loathed to give it any credence, but can you confirm if that's true or not? Shame if it's true. Jimmy's...a REAL legend!
