As I am about to start Initial Officer Training which requires me to at the very least reside in the block for its duration, will I pay council tax there as well as what I/my Wife pays on our own property?

Mate we're all very aware that you're starting IOT you dont have to think of 20 questions a day just to drop it in the bag!

As proud as I am of what I've achieved thus far I definitely do not suffer from the same anti-social need that the little girl 'My mother, who's a nurse!' did in Johnny Briggs class out of the old TV show of the same name. :)

Anyhoo, my question still stands. :PDT_Xtremez_19:

You will not pay accommodation charge or CILOCT while unaccompanied, only the daily food charge (you will not need to worry about PAYD while in Phase 1). If you currently live in SFA it will happen automatically but if in your own property you will likely have to ask PSF to make the adjustment. Although with a course of just 19 cadets to administer I would hope PSF would have the capacity to be proactive in that regard.
