WALCOTT - Get in.

Croatia 0 - 1 England (Walcott 26')

England are playing well. More surprisingly, so is Frank Lumpard.

Overall we've taken the game to the Croats - keep it up.

Half-time

Croatia 0 - 1 England (Walcott 26')

Joe Cole - elbowed in head - replaced by Jenas
Robert Kovac sent off

WALCOTT - Get in.

Croatia 0 - 2 England (Walcott 26', 59')

ROONEY - Get in

Croatia 0 - 3 England (Walcott 26', 59', Rooney 63')

Croatia (Mandzukic 78') 1 - 3 England (Walcott 26', 59', Rooney 63')

WALCOTT - Get in.

Croatia (Mandzukic 78') 1 - 4 England (Walcott 26', 59', 82', Rooney 63')

Full-time

Croatia (Mandzukic 78') 1 - 4 England (Walcott 26', 59', 82', Rooney 63')

Brilliant performance. England took the game to Croatia, dominating from start to finish. Made the extra man tell when Kovac was sent off early in the second half.

A couple of dodgy David James moments and sloppy play to allow Croatia to score, but what an attacking display. Croatia had no answer to our pass and move. If England can reproduce this level of performance on a consistent basis then the future is bright. Must not get too carried away, as we have had false dawns in the past.

Anyway, well done Fabio Capello. Well done England. Very well done Theo Walcott, with a well taken hat-trick to put the icing on the cake of a mature performance. The Croatian left back didn't know how to deal with him.

Well done.

Well I'll be jiggered :PDT_Xtremez_17:

This is the England that occaisionally turns up to games, but most of the time we have to put up with the other one.

That is the first interview I have heard with Walcott. I reckon he is a future England Captain. He actually spoke quite intelligently, no cliche's or you knows. A credit to cluband country.

You can watch highlights tonight on Setanta - apparently they are showing the game as a Freeview event.

Setanta 1

Sky channel 423 and Freeview channel 34

It's worth watching!

Sure Walcott had a good game but is it just me or are people beginning to over-congratulate him?

I've had a good few people already saying that he is England's savior...
