Just upgraded my pc with new mobo/CPU/RAM as the old one died (would just turn itself off during boot) and the new mobo has CrossfireX Hybrid support, and an on-board Radeon HD 4290.

Just wondering if there is any point enabling the onboard graphics in crossfire mode with my discrete HD 4770 - would I actually notice any difference in games? I normally only play WoW/EQ2 with the odd game of CS:Source/Condition Zero when I feel like shooting someone.

May well be able to help you here.

I got crossfire for my Xmas once in about 1971 and if i remember rightly the secret is "in the wrist action!"

According to this chart ->http://game.amd.com/us-en/content/images/crossfirex/CF_combo_chart.jpg

Probably not.... (CrossfireX Hybrid motherboards all show nowt)

I would ask somewhere like Toms Hardware forums for a bit better help though.
