Dental Retainers

Hi,

Does anyone know where the RAF stands when it comes to dental retainers?

I had my braces taken out about five years ago, but I still have to wear a (removable) retainer. I only wear it at nights and on average I wear it once or twice a month.

I know the RAF don't allow fixed braces, but does anyone know if a removable retainer would be okay?

Shouldn't be a problem as they are removable and you do not appear (from what you have said) to need to wear them at work.

Just ask the AFCO to confirm that.
