Has anybody on here ever sorted out the above? It's the Unit Emblem usually sited on the left arm of your MTP shirt / jacket, on the same velcro patch of, and just under the Union Jack.

If you have and you have any gen for me, it'd be very much appreciated if you can enlighten me.

This is how we had it described to us.

The rules are a little complicated. A unit is a sqn the patch is on the left, if it is a large formation, EAW, PJHQ and you are unit within that org it is on the right below the RAF TRF.

Yep, it's for a Unit which isn't part of a large formation, so a diamond patch on the left arm. I'm sure I've heard before that it can be a long process once everything is submitted.

I'm not having much luck so far but I'm hoping we have an ex-17 Typhoon Goater who can remember where he/she has stashed their old badges?

According to the Register of Approved Formation Badges, 17 Sqns badge should consist of:

A Green or Sand Shield, halved diagonally in colour, superimposed with a Gauntlet.

If anybody on here can post up a photo of one it would be very much appreciated. :PDT_Xtremez_26:

Cheers Past Engineering.

I'm sure I can basterdise something out of that second link. Maybe the Armourers can lend me some crayons if they've been able to afford any this month? :PDT_Xtremez_16:
